Cool wheels and tires - I mean really cool, not that stock crap - for a Segway.
A Segway? Yeah, that's my favorite ride these days.
I have the stock wheel/tire combo that comes with a Segway model i-180 in the picture, except for the semi-cool after-market hubcaps I had to glue on. I had it converted to the XT setup because I live in the country (dirt roads & trails along with pavement and sidewalks - and snow in the winter) and the only suspension is in the tire sidewalls. A big boy like me needs a bit more squish.
The XT tire/wheel setup works pretty nice, but I realize there are 2 other problems I'd like to address. One, the tire is a 21x7-10 Ground Buster II and much more aggressive than I really need until it snows. Two is the ugly factor and the stock wheel fits in that category all too well.
So, I am on the hunt for something a LOT sexier and a little less aggressive tread pattern. What I think might work is the SportLite 2. That's a very handsome wheel. I have seen a website that offers that in a 10x5, but I don't see that size on your website. The XT Segway wheel is a 10x5. The bolt pattern seems to be a 4/156 (4 I am pretty sure on - laugh dammit - but the 156 is just a guess - it's 6 1/16"). You make (or made) that bolt pattern. Now the issue is the backspacing. I have no idea what that 10x5 wheel's backspacing is. The Segway XT wheel is 2+3 (2" from bead edge to hub on the back side). If the SportLite was a little deeper on the back, I might be able to handle another quarter inch, but that's about it (now, if you could see your way clear to makin' a 12x5 of that wheel, I could handle about an inch more in backspacing - I know, fat chance).
Any advice or guidance would be appreciated. I have a feeling that I might be able to interest other Segway enthusiasts, if I can come up with a nice alternative to the same-o, same-o.

PS: I apologize for being the first reg'lar member post and not even bein' a ATVer - but they sure look like fun.
